Thoughts on Alexandr Dolgopolov… we found this comment on Reddit and wanted to hear your thoughts on his 2012 season.
I wanted to bring this up because I really like Dolgopolov’s game.
He won a tournament right before the US Open, but in general he has had a bad season. He lost quite a few matches to lower ranked players. He was the #1 seed at the Kremlin cup and lost to E Roger-Vasselin in his first match (he got a BYE in the first round). I know that almost all players have phases of bad tennis or just bad results. Is it just a phase for him? I saw only some of these matches and he seemed a little sluggish. Too many unforced errors.
