Andy Murray isnt the most likeable guy in the world and Im wondering if he is trying to gain public sympathy. Andy cried at the recently British Davis Cup even, but to me it seemed to be put on a little bit. What do you think?

well you might not think he is likeable but thousands of us do. i have meet him several times and he is funny and chatty, maybe not to you journalists!! wonder why! his tears were not put on, he is under huge pressure all the time being our only hope in biritsh tennis, we should be behind him instead of reading things like you have just written,

I have met Andy once and he seems like a nice enough guy away from the court, but while he is on court he just isnt that likeable.. Im sorry. It seems like a lot of people here in England dislike him, because he made rude comments about how much he hates the English and loves being Scotish! He gets a downvote from me.

oh god not that old comment again, it was a comment made in fun with tim henman, over the football, been explained many times and was taken out of context, thats why he dosnt like talking to jounalists,on court he dosnt seem any different than the other players, havnt seen nadal and fed smiling on court! he has an english girlfriend and relatives, and is very willing to play under the english flag, in davis cup and olmpics!!

What a terribly synical viewpoint! It is also subjective and nothing to do with tennis. It takes neither talent nor intelligence to follow the “Anti-Murray” flock of sheep. There’s too much disecting all aspects of Andys personality. So improve your own quality standards! Whether people like it or not he IS Britains best tennis player.

Yes. However, I sometimes feel that he forgets he is British and not just Scotish!
