ATP signs up Pitch International for Magazine Show

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) announced that Pitch International will exclusively distribute the media rights for a new weekly magazine show.

The program, which will highlight all the highlights from the ATP World Tour including the Masters 1000, 500 and 250 tournaments, is scheduled to be launched in August 2009.

The show will also follow star players such as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal behind the scenes throughout the season.”The ATP WorldTour is going from strength to strength and partnering with Pitch to showcase the best of our tournaments and players will help accelerate our momentum,” said Phil Anderton, the ATP’s chief marketing officer.

Pitch International’s Jon Owen added: “Pitch is delighted to have won this prestigious contract in the face of such fierce competition. We are thrilled to represent The ATP World Tour and look forward to being able to bring the game’s greatest players to a wider global audience in 2009.”
