Boris Becker Joins Forces with Klip America

Boris Becker & Co of Baar Switzerland and Klip America of San Diego/California USA have jointly announced that Klip America will become the licensee for Boris Becker Tennis Rackets and Equipment in the United States, Europe, Australia, Africa and parts of Asia. As per the agreement, Klip America will also assume responsibility for Boris Becker Apparel in North America and Mexico.

Klip America served as the US Distributor for Boris Becker Tennis Equipment and Apparel for the past 18 months, now taking over as the licensee effective January 1, 2009.

Boris Becker & Co. is co-owned by tennis legend and three times Wimbledon Champion Boris Becker. He has been involved with Volkl Tennis for the past 10 years and this association will continue with a collection of premium rackets made for the Becker line that will be manufactured by Volkl using their high quality German technology.

“The Boris Becker Collection will be an exclusive high end and tight range of rackets. They will be made to the highest specifications and tolerances using technology developed specifically and approved for the Becker Collection,” said Sean Frost Managing Director of Klip America.
