World number 2 Roger Federer is testing a new coach his manager Tony Godsick confirmed:”It is true Cahill is in Dubai, and they are testing for a few days a possible collaboration. What is going to happen is still unclear, but his work with his present coach Severin Luethi is going on for sure.”

Darren Cahill is not unknown in the tennis scene. Cahill trained Hewitt for years and made him world number 1, before they parted in 2001. A little bit later Cahill worked together with Andre Agassi, who then managed to climb the tennis throne once again.

As a professional player the Australian Cahill was a little less successful. His highest ranking was no.22 and he won only two tournaments.

Federer, from what has been said, is fit again. He can train without any pain again and seems to be ready for the upcoming Indian Wells Masters Series.
