Feliciano Lopez was hoping to have a strong French Open 2012. However, he only lasted five games and had to retire in his first round match. Lopez suffered a side muscle injury

In the beginning, I felt it was nothing really serious, but (the) day after, I couldn’t play almost,” Lopez said. “I tried to rest during the weekend just to try to play today, but it was impossible.

Feliciano is hoping that he will be fit and ready for Wimbledon starting in about four weeks time.
