Fernando Gonzalez To Miss Wimbledon

Fernando Gonzalez will miss Wimbledon 2010 due to a knee injury he sustrained during the European clay court season.

Speaking on his official website, Gonzalez had the following to say to his fans.

“The treatment I’m receiving makes me stop for a long time. If I come back for Davis Cup it would make the injury get worse and I won’t even be at my 50 percent for those matches,” Gonzalez wrote on his official website. “I feel really bad about not playing the competition I like the most. I wish things were different but they aren’t.

“If everything turns out as I hope, my return tournament will be at Masters 1000 Toronto.”

Yes I agree with those comments, whether he wins or loses he always gives you an exciting and never boring match. I hope you recover as soon as possible.
