Inside TheTennisTimes: 2012 Review

in Tennis Times News

Here at TheTennisTimes we had an up and down 2012. At times we were able to publish a lot of articles with the help from our writers, but at other times we struggled. TheTennisTimes has been a part time hobby of mine for some time, as I have to deal with my day job. Im hoping in future I will find some more time to grow my hobby into something a little more serious.

It seems as though Tennis in general has been in decline over the past few years and this has show in basic search and traffic numbers (plus Tennis.com numbers)

In 2012 over 360,000 people visited the site.

  • TheTennisTimes attendance for 2012 – 360,514
  • Wimbledon attendance for 2012 – 484,805
  • US Open attendance – 712,976
  • French Open attendance – 429,105
  • Australian Open attendance – 653,860

Im pretty confident this year we can break French Open and Wimbledon attendance numbers, but it will be a bit of a challenge to break the US Open and Australian Open numbers.

What would you like to see more of on TheTennisTimes in 2013? What can we improve?
