Ana Ivanovic, 21, confirmed to Press paper she’s having a relationship with Spaniard player Fernando Verdasco; she also said they met at the last US Open.
“It’s true I’m dating Fernando. We met at the US Open, and then it all started,” former world ranked no. 1 said.
“At present, we are knowing each other and getting adapted to our relationship. He’s a fantastic guy and I’m very happy with him,” Ivanovic said about the 24-year-old player born in Madrid; a couple of days ago, he went to Doha to support her during the Masters Cup.
French Open champion also added she will try to win another Grand Slam in 2009 and to improve her current situation at the WTA world ranking. So far, she ranks fifth.
