German Nicolas Kiefer plans his Comeback to be at this year’s first Davis Cup game against Austria. Kiefer suffers from an ankle injury that he got himself at this year’s Hopman Cup in Perth (Australia). “I made big progress and hope at latest to be ready for the Davis Cup encounter against Austria,” Kiefer said.

The already 31 year old German doesn’t think of retiring yet:” My aim is just to be fit. I’ll only compete again if I have 100% confidence in my foot. Sometimes you doubt, but I wish to play once more at the Olympic Games 2012 in London. This would mean I would have played at four different Olympic Games. I think I am still capable of doing a lot.”
