Maria Sharapova, who was leading herself through the French Open with high hopes and determination, crumbled against Na Li, as the Chinese won with a score of 6-4 7-5.

Sharapova made a whopping 10 double faults throughout the match, not a single ace, only 12 winners, and 28 unforced errors; while Li made 1 ace, only 3 double faults, 24 winners, and 23 unforced errors. Sharapova made the mistakes at crucial points, making the match head into Li direction from beginning. Sharapova also ended the match after making a double fault.

Li will play either Francesca Schiavone or Marion Bartoli in the final of the only Grand Slam on clay.

Better luck next time, Masha!

Congrats, Na!
