Although it is well known of how important Maria is to the WTA, I think we should let Maria decide how she wants to continue on from here, and support decision. I for one love to see very good athletes play their game at their highest level, but it is still her career! Besides, would you really want her back if she did not want to be back?

She’s still entered in Birmingham, which I sincerely hope she plays. There is no need for her to come back on a surface that she hates. She should wait until the grass so she can get confidence and solid results.
