Martina Hingis had an amazing Wimbledon 2015 which saw her win both the Womens Doubles and Mixed Doubles. I thought I would see how much prize money she made from the event and how that would equate to a singles result.

Prize money:

Womens Doubles Winner: £340,000 per pair. Thus, £170,000 for Martina
Mixed Doubles Winner: £100,000 per pair. Thus, £50,000 for Martina.

Overall Martina made £220,000 in Wimbledon 2015 Prize money.

Compared to Singles prize money, which is £127,000 for a Fourth Round Loser or £241,000 for a Quarterfinalist.

Thus, Martina Hingis only made £21,000 less than someone making the Quarterfinals of the Womens or Mens Singles.
