Oh Lord above, what is she wearing!!! That outfit is enough for me to say “default”!
Given how strongly this season’s cast has kicked off their stint on “Dancing With the Stars” so far, the title of “first eliminated” was really anyone’s for the taking.
Except for William Levy, of course, who probably caused millions of female viewers at home to swoon – and dial in – when he quipped that he hasn’t even had a chance to “go topless” yet.
For that, the Latin heartthrob will stay.
It was tennis great Martina Navratilova who got the ax first Tuesday night after a “careful” jive with partner Tony Dovolani.
“That was sad because I love your approach to the routine,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said Monday of Navratilova’s footwork.
Bruno Tonioli was a bit more direct: “Oh, my darling, that serve went into the net!”
Still, the sports legend was gracious about her loss, admitting that her missteps justified her elimination.
“What am I going to take away?” she pondered aloud to host Brooke Burke. “It was an amazing experience and I just wish I could have done it longer.”
And the elegant athlete was indeed a breath of fresh air with her quiet earnestness, especially among louder personalities like “The View” host Sherri Shepherd, who staunchly declared that she would “boo-hoo like I lost somebody” if she were eliminated.
Not just yet, Sherri. Hold onto those tears.
