There has been a lot of press around the Michael Llodra racial insult scandal. The ATP Tour has just announced that the Michael Llodra investigation isnt closed and it is still ongoing.

Originally Llodra was fined $2,500, but apparently that fine could go higher, or other measures could be taken.

“I love Chinese — I can totally make love with a Chinese girl,” and refused to apologize at the press conference were what capped him as a unrepentant racist.

This will not go away. In fact I am itching to go to every match that he plays if possible to hound him on this.

ATP’s light sentence despite of this showed that this organization is still stuck in the 1970s. It is only after seeing the huge backlash that ATP decides to take “further action”. I say we boycott ATP altogether. This is an elite white sport with a history of exclusivity and I think it is about time those of us that do not belong just ignore it. Stop spending our money on anything that has to do with this.
