Bad luck for Gael, missing his home tournament. The official press release from Roland Garros states:

Gaël Monfils withdraws from the tournament

Suffering from a right knee injury, Gaël Monfils will be unable to compete this year in the French Open at Roland-Garros.

He will have to rest for at least three weeks before playing again.

The French player will be replaced in the men’s singles final draw by a lucky loser.

I hope you recover in time for Wimbledon Gael.
