In yet another upset, Rafael Nadal was defeated by Ivan Dodig in the second round of the Rogers Cup. Dodig won 1-6 7-6 7-6. This has to be the best win of his career so far!

Nadal was serving for the match at 5-3 in the third set, but was unable to close it out.

It seems like all the seeds are dropping in both the mens and womens draws at the Rogers Cup. Only really Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer left in the mens singles.

He always had troubles with great serve players in the past, specially in fast surfaces , it appears that he just can’t take off his mind his previous defeats with nole

Im not sure about that. The match was great! Rafa played really well, but he did struggle with Dodig’s serve. I just think it was a great and close match overall.. could have gone either way!
