Exclusive footage of Maria Sharapova at Fed Cup match in Moscow

Most of us have seen Maria Sharapova playing Fed Cup for her country but have never seen what it’s like when she’s on the sidelines.

Here’s your chance to see the tennis superstar up close and personal at their match against Spain on February 5th. Russia edged it out to win 3-2 and will face Serbia in the semifinals, taking place on April 21-22.

She isn’t as cold and impassive as you thought she would be with the other Russian players, and hopefully this video will reveal a more realistic picture of our favorite Russian beauty.

In the first part of the video, you will see Sharapova mix and mingle with Svetlana Kuznetsova and Anastasia Myskina, as well as meet with Marat Safin. Just so you know, the videos are both in Russian so don’t get too discouraged.

In the second part, it’s mostly her and Kuznetsova talking amongst themselves.

Anastasia Myskina Pregnant once again

Former top 3 player, Anastasia Myskina of Russia has been reported to be pregnant with her third child. The now retired former French Open champion is pregnant with her third son but is still working as a television personality in her native Russia as well as being the coach for the Fed Cup team, with the Fed Cup Final taking place in Moscow from 5-6 November.

“Being a mother is so different; it’s not that it’s quieter or faster, it’s just different,” she said. “Being a mom is tough—you understand what’s good for you and the babies—while tennis is just a game, it’s fun because you have a different life when you step on the court but when the baby is sick you go crazy. When I lost a match it was really bad time, now I know it was a great time, so being a mom is tougher.”

Wishing her all the best with her family and career, but I doubt she would ever come back to the tour after having three kids :(

Anastasia Myskina Pregnant with Her Second Child

According to Russian Press Anastasia Myskina is pregnant with her second child. One blog says that the father is rumored to be a hockey player, Myskina’s long-time boyfriend and father of her first child (which seems pretty obvious!).

The 28-year-old Myskina retired in 2007, but only after winning the 2004 French Open and becoming the first Russian women’s tennis player to win a Grand Slam.
