Tennis Australia was nice enough to send us the video of their Davis Cup draw against South Korea. The draw was held at Brisbane’s Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
It seems like Tennis Australia has finally worked out how social media works and they are the best tennis organisation online at the moment.
Bernard Tomic Still Wants Daddy to Coach Him
Bernard Tomic has confirmed that he still wants his dad to coach him (as if he had a say). Tomic had a public spat with his dad in Miami, but Bernard owes a lot to his dad.
“It’s stuff that you experience in life and you learn from these things. It’s a good learning curve.”
Asked if he would react differently next time, the 19-year-old Tomic said “absolutely.”
“That was a small problem. It’s all fixed. My dad is the right guy to coach me—he’s always been,” Tomic said.
“Father-son relationships are always a bit tricky but there’s no doubt my dad will be there for me. I have gotten to where I am because of him.”

Bernard Tomic wasnt happy with his Dad/Coach body lanugage during his match against David Ferrer in Miami. Tomic even asked the chair umpire to get his Dad removed.
From my experience with John Tomic from a very early stage in Tomic’s tennis career, he needs to give positive feedback to his son! Most of the time he seems to be holding Bernard back. John maybe its time to step aside for a real coach!

Bernard Tomic in not so surprising news has decided to sell his V8 BMW M3.
I wish to move forward from this and use it as part of my learning experience, so I’ve decided to sell my BMW. I’ll put my dream car on hold for a while and in the next few years I’ll look again and hopefully I will be able to find a similar car. I now want to focus on my tennis without any distractions.
Tomic has a court date on February 14 for driving the car in areas not permitted under his license.

Bernard Tomic Faces Three Years in Jail and $20,000 Fine
Bernard Tomic has been in trouble with the police a lot lately. However, it now seems to be getting quite serious. Bernard Tomic faces jail time and a $20,000 fine.
He was charged with evading police after he allegedly refused to stop and later barricaded himself in his parents’ Gold Coast, Queensland, home on Jan. 26.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $20,000 fine but his high-profile criminal lawyer Chris Nyst called the charges “little more than a storm in a tea cup.”
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on February 14 to face the charges

Bernard Tomic Wins a Thriller in Australian Open 2012 First Round over Fernando Verdasco
Bernard Tomic has played an amazing first round match at the Australian Open 2012. Tomic came back from 2 sets to love to defeat (22) Fernando Verdasco in five sets 4-6 6-7 6-4 6-2 7-5. Tomic had a lot of chances in the first two sets, but could capitalise, but then he turned that around converting his opportunities in the final three sets.
It will be very interesting to see if he can keep up this great form he has had in Australia.
John McEnroe States Bernard Tomic Could Win a Major: Now He Has No Chance!
John McEnroe has publicly stated that he thinks Bernard Tomic will have opportunities in his career to win a major.
Bernard has got more upside than any young guy I see out there, McEnroe told reporters in Adelaide on Monday, mirroring comments made by world No.11 Juan Martin del Potro.
He’s going to get stronger – that will help him. He is right there with the young guys as one who can make the breakthrough and win some majors.

Bernard Tomic Claims Police Harassment Over Dangerous Driving Claim
Bernard Tomic is now claiming police harassment. Tomic was reportedly under investigation for dangerous driving. Now the wannabe tennis superstar is claiming that the police are targeting him specifically. Basically, he says he is being victimised by a ‘jealous’ Gold Coast traffic cop who has pulled him up several times while out and about in his distinctive bright orange BMW M3.
One thing I have learnt is to never get on the bad side of cops!
“He doesn’t like me for some reason … he’s always on my tail,” the teenager said.
“I think it’s really bad. I haven’t done a thing wrong – I just go about my business as a tennis player.”
Bernard Tomic In Trouble With the Law: Dangerous Driving of His BMW M3
Bernard Tomic hasn’t had the greatest week. Tomic drives a BMW M3 at home on the Gold Coast, Australia. The P-Plate license he has doesn’t normally allow someone to drive such a powerful car, but for him they were lift. However, now there have been a lot of complaints against Tomic and the police launched an investigation into ‘dangerous driving’ allegations against Tomic.
The special conditions mean that Tomic is only allowed to drive the luxury sports car to drive directly to and from tennis training at the Queen St courts in Southport.
Bernard you must be expecting to lose your license.. or at least your privileges to drive your BWM M3.
