Jason Kubler Wins Bundaberg Future Tournament

Jason Kubler is an Australian player on the rise. Jason is only 18 and he has just won his fourth Future tournament. Jason just won the ITF Future tournament in Bundaberg (Queensland, Australia) over (8) John Millman 6-4 1-6 6-1.

“It’s always nice to win in Australia, it’s the first time I’ve done it, so that’s good.

“It was a tough match and I was getting pretty tired out there, I was just lucky enough to get the third set.

“John is a very good player, he is always going to come out and try as hard as he can. I knew that coming into the match and I just had to try as hard as I could and see who was going to win,” said Kubler.

SteveGTennis.com: Do Professional Tennis Players Still Use This Site?

Is SteveGTennis.com still being used by professional players? I remember when I was back playing futures and satellite tournaments around the world, everyone used to check SteveGTennis to keep upto date on results from all tournaments. SteveGTennis is simple and very easy to use, but as of late I have noticed their traffic has been decreasing and I was wondering if professional players still use this service or do they go to other sites now?

Why Cant I Watch Future and Challenger Tours on TV or Web?

I have always wondered why the lower level tours dont actually get any TV time. I have noticed here in the UK that tennis is pretty much never on TV, except Grand Slams. In the USA they have the Tennis Channel, but why has the Tennis Channel not got onto Sky yet? Additionally, how come they never cover the lower level tours, like Futures and Challengers? There could be some interesting pieces on finding the next Roger Federer or Raphael Nadal, but they seem to have such a narrow focus.
