TENNIS.com To Title Sponsor Zurich Tennis Open On The 11th – 19th October

TENNIS.com has been named as the new title sponsor of the Zurich Open in Switzerland in a few weeks.

“We’re proud that one of Europe’s most important tournaments will operate under our name,” declared George Mackin, Director at The Tennis Company. “We decided to title sponsor the TENNIS.com Zurich Open based on its long and successful history and the outstanding player field they have this year.”

“We are delighted to be teaming up with Octagon to title-sponsor the TENNIS.com Zurich Open and hope that it will be the first of many future tennis event title sponsorships that we work on together, “ added Dave Morgan, Chairman of the Tennis Company.

TENNIS.com is one of the worlds premier tennis destinations and it is good to see them trying to promote their services a little bit more within the sport. I do think however they have a lot of issues with their own tennis website, and they probably should have spent this sponsorship money on redoing their site! After launching several new media companies, im always open to becoming an evangelist for them.

Tennis.com Bloody Crashes My Firefox Browser!

For a long time now I have been heading over to Tennis.com every now and then to see what is happening in terms of news in the world of tennis. The site itself normally has quite poor information and the majority of the time they only report on the tennis results. However, I have been noticing for a while now, that when you head over to Tennis.com using a Firefox browser the site instantly crashes, every time! Now considering Firefox is probably the second most used browser in the world and catching Internet Explorer everyday, Tennis.com is losing a huge amount of traffic to their site and also just pretty much pissing everyone off who uses Firefox. Tennis.com the worlds best tennis magazine which crashes your browsers, great advert!
