Todd Reid Former Australian Davis Cup and Hopman Cup Player Is On The Comeback

Former Australian Davis Cup and Hopman Cup representative Todd Reid has moved into the final round of Qualifying at the Perth International.

On the comeback trail from injury, Reid had little trouble defeating young gun Jason Kubler 6-1 6-1 in the 2nd Round after receiving a first round bye. Reid takes on Perth local hope Zach Itzstein on Monday for a place in the Main Draw.

Sydney youngster Dane Propoggia also had a strong win with a second round victory over Matthew Barton 7-5 6-4. Propoggia has had several strong victories on the Pro Circuit in recent weeks winning Doubles Titles in Traralgon and Sale in October.

Women’s Qualifying commences at 9am today with the final round for both Men and Women being completed on Monday. The Perth International concludes next Sunday with the Men’s and Women’s Final’s commencing at 12pm at the State Tennis Centre Burswood.
