Many of you may be confused as to how the USTA is going to schedule the rest of this year’s US Open which has obviously been complicated by cancellations due to rain on Wednesday and Thursday.

Official Schedule

Women’s Quarterfinal Rounds

Men’s Round of 16

Women’s Semifinals

Men’s Quarterfinals

Men’s Semifinals

Women’s Final

Men’s Final

This scheduling mess really does not bode well for anyone on the men’s or women’s side. ¬†With that being said, the men in the bottom of half of the draw will have to win four best of five set matches in four days to claim the title. ¬† Theoretically, this means a player could be playing 20 sets over four days, a seemingly physical and mental impossibility.

Overall, there will be great tennis over the next four days as the US Open reaches its climax and the players call on their final reserves.
